0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE STATE LIBRARY FOR STATEWIDE

0012|     LIBRARY MATERIAL AND SERVICES.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Six hundred thirty-six
    |
0016|     thousand dollars ($636,000) is appropriated from the general
    |
0017|     fund to the library division of the office of cultural affairs
    |
0018|     for expenditure in fiscal year 1999 for the purpose of
    |
0019|     creating a statewide electronic library to make journals and
    |
0020|     other digital reference information available to citizens
    |
0021|     through their public, school and academic libraries.  Any
    |
0022|     unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0023|     fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the general fund.
