  Mr. Speaker:
  
       Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred
  
                        HOUSE BILL 242
  
  has had it under consideration and reports same with
  recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
  
       1.  On page 2, line 6, strike "educational" and insert in
  lieu thereof "education".
  
       2.  On page 4, line 6, after the period insert "The state
  board by regulation shall require that employees of
  cooperatives be accorded the same rights and privileges and be
  subjected to the same duties and obligations as employees of
  local school boards.".
  
       3.  On page 4, lines 13 through 16, strike the sentence
  beginning with "Money".,
  
  and thence referred to the APPROPRIATIONS AND FINANCE
  COMMITTEE.
