0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0016|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One million one hundred
    |
0017|     fifty-three thousand dollars ($1,153,000) is appropriated from
    |
0018|     the general fund to the public defender department for
    |
0019|     expenditure in fiscal year 1999 to pay for seventeen full-time
    |
0020|     equivalent positions and operating expenses to keep pace with
    |
0021|     expanded district attorney domestic violence programs.  Any
    |
0022|     unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0023|     fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the general fund.
