0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PAY FOR UNANTICIPATED DETENTION

0012|     COSTS OF TORRANCE COUNTY.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Seven hundred thousand
    |
0016|     dollars ($700,000) is appropriated from the general fund to
    |
0017|     the local government division of the department of finance and
    |
0018|     administration for expenditure in fiscal year 1999 to pay
    |
0019|     unanticipated detention costs in Torrance county.  Any
    |
0020|     unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0021|     fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the general fund.
