0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CORRECTIONS DEPARTMENT FOR A

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred fifty thousand
    |
0016|     dollars ($250,000) is appropriated from the general fund to
    |
0017|     the corrections department for expenditure in fiscal year 1999
    |
0018|     to provide or contract for a statewide sex offender
    |
0019|     notification program.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance
    |
0020|     remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the
    |
0021|     general fund.
