0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE PURCHASE OF PUBLIC SAFETY

0012|     VEHICLES FOR THE CITY OF RIO RANCHO IN SANDOVAL COUNTY.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One hundred twenty-five
    |
0016|     thousand dollars ($125,000) is appropriated from the general
    |
0017|     fund to the local government division of the department of
    |
0018|     finance and administration for expenditure in fiscal year 1999
    |
0019|     for the purpose of purchasing and equipping five public safety
    |
0020|     department vehicles and one animal control vehicle for the
    |
0021|     city of Rio Rancho in Sandoval county.  Any unexpended or
    |
0022|     unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999
    |
0023|     shall revert to the general fund.
