0011| MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO FUND A SYMPOSIUM ON INTERCULTURAL

0014| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015| Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred thousand dollars
|
0016| ($100,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New
|
0017| Mexico office of Indian affairs for expenditure in fiscal year
|
0018| 1999 for the purpose of funding a symposium on intercultural
|
0019| and intergovernmental cooperation and to examine the lessons
|
0020| learned from intercultural coexistence over the last four
|
0021| hundred years. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance
|
0022| remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the
|
0023| general fund.
