0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE PROMOTION OF TOURISM IN NEW

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Three million, six hundred
    |
0016|     thousand dollars ($3,600,000) is appropriated from the general
    |
0017|     fund to the tourism department for expenditure in fiscal year
    |
0018|     1999 for the purpose of advertising and promoting tourism
    |
0019|     statewide to increase state tourism revenue.  Any unexpended
    |
0020|     or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year
    |
0021|     1999 shall revert to the general fund.
