0011| RELATING TO THE DWI OVERSIGHT TASK FORCE; EXTENDING THE TENURE

0012| OF THE DWI OVERSIGHT TASK FORCE; AMENDING SECTIONS OF THE NMSA

0015| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
|
0016| Section 1. Section 2-12-6 NMSA 1978 (being Laws 1993,
|
0017| Chapter 65, Section 15) is amended to read:
|
0018| "2-12-6. DWI OVERSIGHT TASK FORCE CREATED--
|
0019| TERMINATION.--The "DWI oversight task force" is created. The
|
0020| task force shall function from the date of its appointment
|
0021| until the first day of December prior to the [second session
|
of the forty-third legislature] first session of the forty-
|
0023| fourth legislature."

0024| Section 2. Section 2-12-9 NMSA 1978 (being Laws 1993,
|
0025| Chapter 65, Section 18) is amended to read:

0001| "2-12-9. REPORT.--The DWI oversight task force shall

0002| make a report of its findings and recommendations for the
|
0003| consideration of the second session of the forty-first
|
0004| legislature, the first session of the forty-second
|
0005| legislature, the second session of the forty-second
|
0006| legislature, the first session of the forty-third legislature,
|
0007| [and] the second session of the forty-third legislature and
|
0008| the first session of the forty-fourth legislature. The
|
0009| reports and suggested legislation shall be made available to
|
0010| the New Mexico legislative council on or before December 15
|
0011| preceding each session."
