0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE CHILDREN, YOUTH AND FAMILIES

0012|     DEPARTMENT TO PROVIDE VARIOUS DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SERVICES

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0016|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One million nine hundred
    |
0017|     thousand dollars ($1,900,000) is appropriated from the general
    |
0018|     fund to the children, youth and families department for
    |
0019|     expenditure in fiscal year 1999 for the purpose of providing
    |
0020|     statewide domestic violence services, including emergency
    |
0021|     shelter, food, clothing, adult and children's counseling,
    |
0022|     family counseling, crisis call response, parenting classes and
    |
0023|     support groups.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance
    |
0024|     remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the
    |
0025|     general fund.
