0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE ECONOMIC EDUCATION

0012|     INSTRUCTION AND OTHER TRAINING FOR PUBLIC SCHOOL TEACHERS

0015|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0016|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars
    |
0017|     ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state
    |
0018|     department of public education for expenditure in fiscal year
    |
0019|     1999 for the purpose of providing economic education
    |
0020|     instruction and other related training to elementary and
    |
0021|     secondary public school teachers throughout the state.  Any
    |
0022|     unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0023|     fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the general fund.
