  Mr. President:
  
      Your FINANCE COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred
  
                    SENATE BILL 110, as amended
  
  has had it under consideration and reports same with
  recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
  
      1.  Strike Senate Floor Amendment 1.
  
      2.  On page 2, line 10, strike "1,356,011.0" and insert in
  lieu thereof "1,350,523.5".
  
      3.  On page 5, between lines 2 and 3, insert the following
  items with amounts under the General Fund column:
  
  CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS:
        (1)  public school capital improvements fund:        7,200.0   
  
                                                        (2)  public school capital outlay fund:   12,287.5".
  
    4.  On page 5, line 6, strike ", except for those exempted in
  Paragraph (3) of this section,".
  
    5.  On page 5, lines 7 and 8, strike "instructional staff, as
  defined in Paragraph (1) of Subsection A of Section 22-8-24 NMSA
  1978," and insert in lieu thereof "teachers".
  
    6.  On page 5, line 13, strike ", except for those exempted in
  Paragraph (3) of this section,".
  
    7.  On page 5, strike lines 17 through 19.
  
    8.  Adjust all totals and subtotals accordingly.
  
    The roll call vote on the Amendment was 6  For 2  Against.
