0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE UNIVERSITY OF NEW MEXICO FOR

0012|     HEALTH CARE SERVICES.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--
    |
0016|               A.  Two million one hundred seventeen thousand
    |
0017|     seven hundred dollars ($2,117,700) is appropriated from the
    |
0018|     general fund to the board of regents of the university of New
    |
0019|     Mexico for expenditure in fiscal year 1999 for the following
    |
0020|     purposes:
    |
0021|                    (1)  one million dollars ($1,000,000) for
    |
0022|     primary care instructional support for the school of medicine;
    |
0023|                    (2)  two hundred forty thousand dollars
    |
0024|     ($240,000) to continue implementation of the doctor of
    |
0025|     pharmacy program;
    |

0001|                    (3)  two hundred thirty-three thousand one
    |
0002|     hundred dollars ($233,100) for the certified nurse-midwife
    |
0003|     program; and
    |
0004|                    (4)  six hundred forty-four thousand six
    |
0005|     hundred dollars ($644,600) to reduce the credit against the
    |
0006|     indirect cost-recovery revenue for the health sciences center.
    |
0007|               B.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance
    |
0008|     remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the
    |
0009|     general fund.
