  Mr. President:
  
      Your EDUCATION COMMITTEE, to whom has been referred
  
                          SENATE BILL 146
  
  has had it under consideration and reports same with
  recommendation that it DO PASS, amended as follows:
  
       1.  On page 1, lines 12 and 13, strike "; MAKING AN
  APPROPRIATION".                 
  
      2. On page 2, between lines 11 and 12, insert: 
  
          "B.  A participating school district shall transfer a pro-
  rated share of the floating unit value for the period of time that
  the student attends a school participating in the pilot program.".
  
      3.  Reletter the succeeding subsections.
  
      4.  On page 3, strike Section 2.,
  
  and thence referred to the FINANCE COMMITTEE.
