0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO A SUBSTANCE ABUSE PREVENTION AND

0012|     EDUCATION PROGRAM IN LEA COUNTY.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Twenty thousand dollars
    |
0016|     ($20,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0017|     department of health for expenditure in fiscal year 1999 to
    |
0018|     offer services through a substance abuse prevention and
    |
0019|     education program to at-risk children in Lea county.  Any
    |
0020|     unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0021|     fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the general fund.
