0011|     MAKING APPROPRIATION FOR AN ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT GRANT FOR

0012|     NORTHWEST NEW MEXICO.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One hundred twenty-five
    |
0016|     thousand dollars ($125,000) is appropriated from the general
    |
0017|     fund to the department of finance and administration for
    |
0018|     expenditure in fiscal year 1999 to provide an economic
    |
0019|     development grant for the northwest New Mexico council of
    |
0020|     governments for Cibola, McKinley and San Juan counties.  Any
    |
0021|     unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0022|     fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the general fund.
