0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION

0012|     DISTRICT ACTIVITIES AND PROJECTS.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred fifty thousand
    |
0016|     dollars ($350,000) is appropriated from the general fund to
    |
0017|     the board of regents of New Mexico state university for
    |
0018|     expenditure in fiscal year 1999 for the purpose of conducting
    |
0019|     soil and water conservation district activities and projects. 
    |
0020|     Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0021|     fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the general fund.
