0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE SUPPORT SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT IN

0012|     THE MATHEMATICS, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--One million five hundred
    |
0016|     thousand dollars ($1,500,000) is appropriated from the general
    |
0017|     fund to the board of regents of the university of New Mexico
    |
0018|     for expenditure in fiscal year 1999 for the support school
    |
0019|     improvement in the mathematics, science and technology
    |
0020|     program.  Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at
    |
0021|     the end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the general fund.
