0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A DOMESTIC AND CHILD ABUSE

0012|     PREVENTION PROGRAM IN NORTHERN TAOS COUNTY.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Ninety thousand dollars
    |
0016|     ($90,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0017|     children, youth and families department for expenditure in
    |
0018|     fiscal year 1999 for the purpose of contracting for direct
    |
0019|     services for counseling victims of domestic and child abuse,
    |
0020|     education and awareness of domestic abuse and specialized law
    |
0021|     enforcement training in the village of Questa in Taos county. 
    |
0022|     Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0023|     fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the general fund.
