0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR DISTRIBUTION TO SCHOOL DISTRICTS

0012|     WITH MULTITRACK YEAR-ROUND SCHOOLS.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Four hundred thousand dollars
    |
0016|     ($400,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state
    |
0017|     department of public education for expenditure in fiscal year
    |
0018|     1999 for the purpose of distributing funds to school districts
    |
0019|     with multitrack year-round schools by multiplying the unit
    |
0020|     value by .05 of the student membership of a school on a
    |
0021|     multitrack year-round school year.  Any unexpended or
    |
0022|     unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 1999
    |
0023|     shall revert to the general fund.
