0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR A TRIBAL-STATE COMMUNITY-BASED

0012|     EDUCATION PROJECT.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Six hundred thousand dollars
    |
0016|     ($600,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the New
    |
0017|     Mexico office of Indian affairs for expenditure in fiscal year
    |
0018|     1999 for the purpose of funding a project developed through a
    |
0019|     partnership between the state and a pueblo education
    |
0020|     consortium to improve the education of Indian students.  Any
    |
0021|     unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0022|     fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the general fund.
