0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR SUPPORT OF THE NORTH AMERICAN FREE

0012|     TRADE AGREEMENT INSTITUTE.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Twenty thousand dollars
    |
0016|     ($20,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the
    |
0017|     economic development department for expenditure in fiscal year
    |
0018|     1999 for the purpose of contracting with the Silver City-Grant
    |
0019|     county economic development corporation for operation of the
    |
0020|     North American Free Trade Agreement institute.  Any unexpended
    |
0021|     or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year
    |
0022|     1999 shall revert to the general fund.
