FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS AT WESTERN NEW MEXICO UNIVERSITY IN GRANT COUNTY.


     I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

                    to the board of regents of western New Mexico university:
          
          A.  five million six hundred seventy-two thousand three hundred dollars
($5,672,300) to plan, design and construct a center for information technology at western New
Mexico university in Grant county;

          B.  one million four hundred ninety thousand eight hundred dollars ($1,490,800)
to plan, design and renovate or remodel the fine arts auditorium at western New Mexico

university in Grant county;
          
          C.  four hundred forty-six thousand two hundred fifty dollars ($446,250) to
purchase and improve property for additional parking and future expansion at western New
Mexico university in Grant county;

          D.  one million two hundred eighty-five thousand dollars ($1,285,000) to plan,
design, renovate and expand the child development center in Sechlar hall at western New
Mexico university in Grant county;

          E.  two million five hundred fifty-four thousand eight hundred dollars
($2,554,800) for renovation and expansion of infrastructure at western New Mexico university
in Grant county; and
          
          F.  eight hundred seventy-nine thousand five hundred dollars ($879,500) to
provide infrastructure for regional extended learning initiatives at western New Mexico
                              university in Grant county.
