HOUSE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 174 STATE OF NEW MEXICO 43RD LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION, 1998 REQUESTED BY JOSE R. ABEYTA FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN COLFAX COUNTY. I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded: to the department of environment: A. six hundred thousand dollars ($600,000) for wastewater system replacement, expansion and improvements in Vaughn in Colfax county; B. six hundred thousand dollars ($600,000) for water system replacement, improvements and expansion in Vaughn in Colfax county; C. six hundred thousand dollars ($600,000) for phase two of a water and

wastewater improvement, expansion and replacement project in the village of Angel Fire in Colfax county; and D. six hundred thousand dollars ($600,000) for water and wastewater system replacement, improvement and expansion in the village of Eagle Nest in Colfax county; to the local government division of the department of finance and administration: A. one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) for repairs and improvements to the town hall in Vaughn in Colfax county; B. fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to plan and design a new village hall in the village of Angel Fire in Colfax county; C. one million five hundred thousand ($1,500,000) to plan, design, do site preparation and begin construction of a multipurpose community center in Cimarron in Colfax county; and D. seven hundred thirty-three thousand seven hundred dollars ($733,700) to acquire land for and plan, design, construct and equip a maintenance patrol yard near Eagle Nest in Colfax county;

to the state engineer: eighty thousand dollars ($80,000) for repairs and improvements in the Antelope Valley irrigation district in Colfax county; and to the energy, mineral and natural resources department: fifty-five thousand dollars ($55,000) to plan, design and construct an addition to the Cimarron state forestry district headquarters office in Colfax county.
