FOR SENIOR CITIZEN FACILITY CONSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT AND IMPROVEMENTS
THROUGHOUT THE STATE.

     I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

                    to the state agency on aging:
 
          A.  four million four hundred twenty-four thousand dollars ($4,424,000) to be
allocated to senior citizen centers and programs for the purpose of purchasing vehicles and
related equipment for accessibility for centers and programs throughout the state;

          B.  four hundred ninety-five thousand dollars ($495,000) for the purpose of
renovating and making improvements to meet current codes and regulations regarding health,

safety and accessibility at senior centers and meal sites located throughout the state;

          C.  nine hundred twenty thousand dollars ($920,000) to be allocated to nutrition
programs for the purpose of purchasing kitchen and related meal site equipment for nutrition
programs located throughout the state; and

          D.  three hundred eighty-nine thousand dollars ($389,000) for the purpose of
renovating and making improvements to senior centers and meal sites located throughout the
state.
