1HOUSE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 240 STATE OF NEW MEXICO 43RD LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION, 1998 REQUESTED BY STEVEN E. PEARCE FOR RENOVATIONS TO THE COURT ROOMS AND COURTHOUSE SQUARE IN LEA COUNTY. I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded: to the local government division of the department of finance and administration: A. six hundred fifty thousand dollars ($650,000) to renovate the court rooms, including security equipment, ceilings, floors, lighting and a complete interior renovation, in Lea county; and B. seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) to renovate Lea county courthouse square, bordered by Main, Central, Washington and Love streets. This appropriation is contingent upon a ten percent match of funds from the city of Lovington. - 1 -
