HOUSE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 297 STATE OF NEW MEXICO 43RD LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION, 1998 REQUESTED BY WILLIAM E. PORTER FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN DONA ANA COUNTY. I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded: to the state department of public education: A. fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) to surface the track at Hatch middle school in Dona Ana county; and B. one hundred fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) to purchase property for expansion of Hatch high school in Dona Ana county; to the state highway and transportation department: - 1 - one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to resurface Shalem Colony trail in Dona Ana county, between New Mexico 185 and United States 70; and to the local government division of the department of finance and administration: one million five hundred thousand ($1,500,000) to develop sites and to construct towers and install equipment for an emergency radio communication system in Dona Ana county.
