HOUSE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 303 STATE OF NEW MEXICO 43RD LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION, 1998 REQUESTED BY BOBBIE K. MALLORY FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN QUAY COUNTY. I request that the following capital outlay project be funded: to the local government division of the department of finance and administration: A. four hundred fifty-five thousand eight hundred eighty-two dollars ($455,882) to design and construct a flood control facility including a retention pond in the city of Tucumcari in Quay county; B. eighty thousand dollars ($80,000) to design and obtain engineering services for a new public safety building in the city of Tucumcari in Quay county;

C. three hundred eighty-five thousand dollars ($385,000) to purchase vehicles and equipment for the street department in the city of Tucumcari in Quay county; D. thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) to repair the roof of the Quay county detention center; E. one hundred four thousand four hundred dollars ($104,400) to purchase and install a metal building and construct improvements to the village of Logan's police station in Quay county; F. one hundred twenty thousand dollars ($120,000) to purchase and install a metal building and construct improvements for the equipment shop in the village of Logan in Quay county; G. two hundred thirty thousand dollars ($230,000) to purchase a new fire truck for the Logan volunteer fire department; H. four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) to purchase a new fifty-five foot aerial fire truck for the Tucumcari fire department in Quay county; to the state highway and transportation department: A. four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) to improve various streets in the

city of Tucumcari in Quay county; B. three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) to improve Quay road AF south of interstate 40 in Quay county; to the state department of public education: A. eight hundred thousand dollars ($800,000) to complete construction of the first grade wing and access to second grade classrooms of a new elementary school in Tucumcari in Quay county; B. ten thousand dollars ($10,000) to improve the House school multipurpose recreational facility adjacent to the schools in House in Quay county; to the state agency on aging: A. three hundred three thousand six hundred dollars ($303,600) to design, construct and equip improvements to the senior citizen center in the village of Logan in Quay county; B. three hundred forty-six thousand five hundred eighteen dollars ($346,518) to purchase and install a metal building and the equip and furnish the building for the San Jon senior citizen center in San Jon in Quay county.
