FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN CATRON AND VALENCIA COUNTIES.

     I request that the following capital outlay projects be
funded:

                    to the local government division of the department of
          finance and administration:
          
          A.  one hundred five thousand dollars ($105,000) for a
new metal shop building that meets safety and Americans with
Disabilities Act of 1990 requirements in Quemado in Catron
county;

          B.  three hundred forty thousand dollars ($340,000) to
improve the Catron county courthouse, including heating and
cooling system upgrades and meeting the Americans with
Disabilities Act of 1990 requirements;

          C.  one hundred ten thousand dollars ($110,000) to
upgrade the computer system at the Catron county courthouse;

          D.  seventy thousand dollars ($70,000) to pave the
parking lot and the front and side areas of the Catron county
courthouse;

          E.  seventy thousand dollars ($70,000) to improve the
Catron county fairgrounds;

          F.  one hundred eighty-seven thousand dollars
($187,000) for an addition to the Catron county medical clinic to
allow room for a dental clinic; and



          G. eighty-three thousand six hundred dollars ($83,600)
to add modular buildings to house the head start program in Los
Lunas in Valencia county.
