FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN MORA COUNTY.
     I request that the following capital outlay projects be
funded:
                    to the state department of public education:
          
          A.  two hundred twenty-three thousand nine hundred
dollars ($223,900) for water system improvements in the Mora
independent school district in Mora county; 
          
          B.  four hundred ninety thousand dollars ($490,000) to
design, construct and equip a distance learning center for the

Mora independent school district in Mora county; and
          C.  one hundred one thousand six hundred fifty dollars
($101,650) for roofing, drainage and stucco projects in the Wagon
Mound public schools in Mora county;
                    to the state highway and transportation department:
          
          A. one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for
easements, construction and entrance road improvements in the
village of Wagon Mound in Mora county;
          B. three hundred five thousand dollars ($305,000) to
chip and seal four miles of Encinal road in Mora county;
          C. two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) to
chip and seal El Alto road in Mora county; and
          D. two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) for land
acquisition, design and construction of the Loma Parda bridge in
Mora county;
                    to the local government division of the department of
          finance and administration:

          A.  two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) for
road equipment in Mora county;
          B.  twenty-eight thousand dollars ($28,000) to plan,
design and construct a maintenance shop for the county road
department in Mora county;
          C.  three hundred forty-five thousand dollars
($345,000) for land acquisition, repairs and renovation of the
Mora county courthouse to ensure code compliance in Mora county;
          D.  four hundred thirty thousand dollars ($430,000) to
remodel the county jail in Mora county;
     
          E.  two hundred eighty-five thousand dollars ($285,000)
to remodel and expand the library in Mora in Mora county;
          F.  fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) to purchase
vehicles for land use code enforcement in Mora county;
          G.  nine hundred thousand dollars ($900,000) to design
and construct an addition to the Mora county courthouse in Mora
county;

          H.  two hundred thirty-five thousand dollars ($235,000)
to design and construct a community center in the village of
Watrous in Mora county;
          I.  three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) for land
acquisition and construction for a county fairgrounds in Mora
county; and
          J.  one hundred seventy-five thousand dollars
($175,000) for land acquisition, design and construction of a
recreation park in the village of Mora in Mora county; and
                    to the department of environment:
               
          A.  five hundred seventy thousand dollars ($570,000) to
design, construct and install new liquid waste sewer lines in the
village of Watrous in Mora county; 
          B.  one million four hundred thousand dollars
($1,400,000) to replace lagoons at the sewage treatment plant in
Mora in Mora county; and
          C.  one million one hundred thousand dollars
($1,100,000) to improve water systems in communities throughout
Mora county.
