HOUSE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 371 STATE OF NEW MEXICO 43RD LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION, 1998 REQUESTED BY JOSE R. ABEYTA FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN COLFAX COUNTY. I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded: to the state department of public education: A. seven thousand five hundred dollars ($7,500) to purchase and install a transmitter, translator and antenna used for receiving public radio broadcasts in the vicinity of Wagon Mound in Mora county; and B. one hundred twenty-eight thousand nine hundred

forty-two dollars ($128,942) for repairs, improvements and additions to the Maxwell high school gymnasium in Maxwell in Colfax county; to the local government division of the department of finance and administration: A. ninety-eight thousand seven hundred four dollars ($98,704) for landscaping and drainage and to design, construct and equip a daycare addition to the community multipurpose center located near Raton high school in Colfax county; B. three hundred fifty-eight thousand three hundred dollars ($358,300) for a water, sewer and street improvement plan in the village of Cimarron in Colfax county; and C. eighty thousand dollars ($80,000) for a type I four- wheel-drive ambulance for the village of Cimarron in Colfax county; and to the department of environment: A. seventeen thousand two hundred dollars ($17,200) for repairs and improvements to the domestic water system in the community of Miami in Colfax county;

B. fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for water and sewer infrastructure improvement projects in the village of Maxwell in Colfax county; and C. fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for a gas infrastructure improvement project in the village of Maxwell in Colfax county.
