HOUSE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 391 
                                
                      STATE OF NEW MEXICO
            43RD LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION, 1998

                           REQUESTED BY

FOR ROOSEVELT COUNTY PROJECTS.

     I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

                    to the state agency on aging:
          
                    nine thousand dollars ($9,000) to reroof the Floyd senior
          citizens center in Roosevelt county;

                    to the state highway and transportation department:
     
                    two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to improve Kilgore
          avenue in Portales in Roosevelt county;

                    to the state department of public education:
     
                    five hundred fifteen thousand dollars ($515,000) for
          capital improvements at the Portales schools in Roosevelt
          county;

                    to the local government division of the department of
          finance and administration:
     
          A.  six hundred thousand dollars ($600,000) to renovate
the Roosevelt county courthouse; and

          B.  thirty-five thousand dollars ($35,000) to renovate
Arch community center, including wiring and heating and cooling
system improvements in Roosevelt county.
