            43RD LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION, 1998

FOR ROAD IMPROVEMENTS IN SANTA FE COUNTY.

     I request that the following capital outlay projects be
funded:

                    to the state highway and transportation department:

          A.  three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) to pave
county road 8 in Edgewood in Santa Fe county;

          B.  three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) to plan,
design and construct an arroyo crossing in Galisteo on county
road 42 in Santa Fe county;

          C.  three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) to pave
county road 54 in La Cienega in Santa Fe county; and

          D.  one hundred twenty thousand dollars ($120,000) to
construct a traffic signal at the intersection of state road 599
and the interstate 25 west frontage road in Santa Fe county.
