                      STATE OF NEW MEXICO
            43RD LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION, 1998

                           REQUESTED BY
                         DANIEL P. SILVA               





FOR CAPITAL PROJECTS IN HOUSE DISTRICT 13 AND CITYWIDE IN
ALBUQUERQUE IN BERNALILLO COUNTY.

     I request that the following capital outlay projects be
funded:

                    to the local government division of the department of
          finance and administration:
          
          A.  eight hundred thousand dollars ($800,000) to design
and construct Alamosa center park in Albuquerque in Bernalillo
county;

          B.  one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) for site
and building improvements at Westgate community center in
Albuquerque in Bernalillo county;

          C.  one million dollars ($1,000,000) to design and
construct Westgate park in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county; and

          D.  two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000) for
environmental design projects citywide to reduce crime and
vandalism in neighborhoods in Albuquerque in Bernalillo county;

                    to the state highway and transportation department:
     
                    two million five hundred thousand dollars ($2,500,000)
          to construct streetscape improvements along Central
          avenue from Eighth street to Coors boulevard in
          Albuquerque in Bernalillo county; and



                    to the state agency on aging:
     
                    one hundred twelve thousand dollars ($112,000) to
          provide meals equipment for the nutrition program and
          senior centers citywide in Albuquerque in Bernalillo
