SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 51 STATE OF NEW MEXICO 43RD LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION, 1998 REQUESTED BY PHILLIP J. MALOOF FOR EDUCATIONAL TECHNOLOGY ON THE WEST SIDE OF ALBUQUERQUE IN BERNALILLO COUNTY. I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded: to the state department of public education: A. three hundred sixty thousand dollars ($360,000) to purchase and install educational technology and other office equipment at Alamosa, Chaparral, Lavaland, Marie M. Hughes, Susie Rayos Marmon and Valle Vista elementary schools on the west side of Albuquerque in Bernalillo county; B. two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to purchase and install educational

technology and other office equipment at West Mesa high school on the west side of Albuquerque in Bernalillo county; C. two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to purchase and install educational technology and other office equipment at John Adams middle school and Lyndon B. Johnson middle school on the west side of Albuquerque in Bernalillo county; and D. one hundred seventy-five thousand dollars ($175,000) to purchase and install educational technology and other office equipment at the new elementary school located west of Unser boulevard on the west side of Albuquerque in Bernalillo county.
