SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 68 STATE OF NEW MEXICO 43RD LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION, 1998 REQUESTED BY JOHN PINTO FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS AT TOHATCHI HEAD START IN MCKINLEY COUNTY. I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded: to the New Mexico office of Indian affairs: A. thirty-two thousand dollars ($32,000) to purchase a four-wheel drive vehicle to provide homebase services to head start students in Tohatchi in McKinley county; B. fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) to purchase and install playground equipment at the Tohatchi head start facility in McKinley county; C. eight thousand dollars ($8,000) to purchase and install security fencing at the - 1 - Tohatchi head start facility in McKinley county; and D. one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) to purchase and install a modular building for the New Mexico Navajo head start agency resource center in Tohatchi in McKinley county.
