FOR LAND ACQUISITION FOR THE EAST MESA LOOP BETWEEN U.S. HIGHWAY 70 AND
INTERSTATE 10 IN DONA ANA COUNTY.

     I request that the following capital outlay project be funded:

                    to the state highway and transportation department:
          
                    four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) to acquire rights-of-way for the East
          Mesa loop between U.S. highway 70 and interstate 10 in Dona Ana county.
