FOR HIGHWAY AND TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT  PROJECTS IN COLFAX COUNTY.

     I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

                    eight hundred twenty thousand eight hundred dollars ($820,800) is appropriated
          from the state road fund to the state highway and transportation department for
          the following purposes:
     
          A.  seven hundred thirty-three thousand eight hundred dollars ($733,800) to
acquire land, plan, design, construct or equip a maintenance patrol yard near Eagle Nest in
Colfax county; and

          B.  eighty-seven thousand dollars ($87,000) to purchase the former game and

fish department building in Raton located in Colfax county for use as a project office.
