            43RD LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION, 1998

FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS AT THE MINERS' COLFAX MEDICAL CENTER.

     I request that the following capital outlay projects be funded:

                    four hundred seventy-four thousand six hundred dollars ($474,600) is
          appropriated from the miners' trust fund to the miners' Colfax medical center for
          the following purposes:

          A.  twenty-six thousand dollars ($26,000) to purchase an endoscope cleaning
system;

          B.  thirty-five thousand dollars ($35,000) to construct a inter-building walkway;

          C.  seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) for improvements to the information
system;

          D.  eighty-one thousand dollars ($81,000) to refurnish and equip the laboratory;
and

          E.  two hundred fifty-seven thousand six hundred dollars ($257,600) to renovate
the quarters building.
