SENATE CAPITAL OUTLAY REQUEST 220 STATE OF NEW MEXICO 43RD LEGISLATURE - SECOND SESSION, 1998 REQUESTED BY JOHN ARTHUR SMITH TO REDESIGN AND RECONSTRUCT LOUIS ARMIJO PARK TO MEET STANDARDS FOR THE PHYSICALLY CHALLENGED, CONTROL DRAINAGE AND CONSERVE WATER BY REUSE OF TREATED EFFLUENT IN THE CITY OF TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES IN SIERRA COUNTY. I request that the following capital outlay project be funded: to the local government division of the department of finance and administration: two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) to redesign and reconstruct Louis Armijo park to meet standards for the physically challenged, control drainage and conserve water by reuse of treated effluent in the city of Truth or Consequences in Sierra county.
