FOR CAPITAL OUTLAY PROJECTS AT THE ROSWELL BRANCH OF EASTERN NEW
MEXICO UNIVERSITY IN CHAVES COUNTY.

     I request that the following capital outlay projects be
funded:

                    to the board of regents of eastern New Mexico
          university:

          A.  seventy-five thousand dollars ($75,000) for
educational technology for the physical and biological science
laboratories at the Roswell branch of eastern New Mexico
university in Chaves county;

          B.  sixty-three thousand seven hundred fifty dollars
($63,750) for five self-contained multi-media classrooms at the
Roswell branch of eastern New Mexico university in Chaves county;

          C.  ten thousand dollars ($10,000) for a micorofiche
reader-printer in the learning resource center at the Roswell
branch of eastern New Mexico university in Chaves county;

          D.  eleven thousand dollars ($11,000) for a rescue
airbag set for emergency medical services program at the Roswell
branch of eastern New Mexico university in Chaves county;

          E.  twenty-three thousand five hundred dollars
($23,500) for video equipment at the Roswell branch of eastern
New Mexico university in Chaves county;

          F.  one million six hundred thousand dollars
($1,600,000) to construct, equip and furnish an instructional
center at the Roswell branch of eastern New Mexico university in
Chaves county; and



          G.  one hundred twenty-eight thousand dollars

($128,000) to upgrade instructional and administrative technology
at the Roswell branch of eastern New Mexico university in Chaves
county.
