0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO PROVIDE FOR TOURISM DEVELOPMENT

0012|     ASSESSMENTS AND PLANS FOR FIFTY NAVAJO CHAPTERS IN NEW MEXICO.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred thousand
    |
0016|     dollars ($300,000) is appropriated from the general fund to
    |
0017|     the New Mexico office of Indian affairs for expenditure in
    |
0018|     fiscal year 1999 for the purpose of contracting for the
    |
0019|     creation of tourism development assessments and plans for
    |
0020|     fifty Navajo chapters located in New Mexico.  Any unexpended
    |
0021|     or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year
    |
0022|     1999 shall revert to the general fund.
