FOR SILVER CITY CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS IN GRANT COUNTY.

     I request that the following capital outlay projects be
funded:

                    to the department of environment:

                    one million three hundred thousand dollars ($1,300,000)
          to expand and improve the wastewater treatment facility
          in Silver City in Grant county;

                    to the state highway and transportation department:

                                        - 1 -

          A.  two million twenty-three thousand eighty dollars
($2,023,080) to improve Little Walnut road in Silver City in
Grant county;

          B.  eight hundred thousand dollars ($800,000) to
install and repair sidewalks in Silver City in Grant county;

          C.  two million nine hundred forty thousand dollars
($2,940,000) to improve streets and roads in Silver City in Grant
county;

          D.  fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) for signal light
coordination in Silver City in Grant county; and

                    to the local government division of the department of
          finance and administration:

          A.  four hundred thousand dollars ($400,000) to
renovate the municipal swimming pool in Silver City in Grant
county;

          B.  thirty-nine thousand dollars ($39,000) to
construct, equip and furnish a fire training center in Silver
City in Grant county;

          C.  nine hundred ninety thousand dollars ($990,000) to
construct, equip and furnish a sports complex in Silver City in
Grant county;

          D.  one hundred thirty-five thousand dollars ($135,000)
to purchase a fire tanker for Silver City in Grant county;

          E.  sixty thousand dollars ($60,000) to purchase a
mini-pumper for Silver City in Grant county;

          F.  thirty-four thousand dollars ($34,000) to improve
the municipal library in Silver City in Grant county; and

          G.  sixty thousand dollars ($60,000) to purchase a
steel wheel roller for Silver City in Grant county.
