APPROPRIATION.--Seven hundred fifty thousand | 0015| dollars ($750,000) is appropriated from the general fund to | 0016| the human services department for expenditure in fiscal year | 0017| 1999 to provide or contract for community-based programs and | 0018| services that provide homeless people with a continuum of | 0019| care, including emergency shelter beds; services for veterans, | 0020| the jobless, the mentally ill and victims of domestic | 0021| violence; outreach for homeless not in shelters; | 0022| transportation; transitional housing, including such service | 0023| for homeless teenage mothers and alcoholics; and case | 0024| management.
