APPROPRIATION.--Fifty thousand dollars | 0017| ($50,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state | 0018| highway and transportation department for expenditure in | 0019| fiscal year 1999 for the purpose of acquiring rights of way | 0020| and conducting environmental and archaeological studies for | 0021| the East Mesa loop connecting United States highway 70 with | 0022| interstate 10 at the Mesquite interchange in Dona Ana county. | 0023| Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of | 0024| fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the general fund. | 0025| Section 2.
