0011|     MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR CONTRACTUAL SERVICES IN THE NEW

0012|     MEXICO HEALTH POLICY COMMISSION; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

0014|     BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
    |
0015|          Section 1.  APPROPRIATION.--Nine hundred eighty-two
    |
0016|     thousand five hundred dollars ($982,500) is appropriated from
    |
0017|     the general fund to the New Mexico health policy commission
    |
0018|     for expenditure in fiscal year 1999 for contractual services. 
    |
0019|     Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
    |
0020|     fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the general fund.
    |
0021|          Section 2.  EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
    |
0022|     peace, health and safety that this act take effect
    |
0023|     immediately.
