0011| MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE ADMINISTRATION DIVISION OF THE

0012| DEPARTMENT OF GAME AND FISH FOR THE CONSERVATION OF NONGAME

0013| WILDLIFE SPECIES AND FOR PUBLIC INFORMATION AND EDUCATION

0014| PROGRAMS RELATED TO WILDLIFE; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

0016| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

0017| Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Three hundred fifty thousand
|
0018| dollars ($350,000) is appropriated from the general fund to
|
0019| the administration division of the department of game and fish
|
0020| for expenditure in fiscal year 1999 for the purpose of
|
0021| conservation of nongame wildlife species and for public
|
0022| information and education programs related to wildlife. Any
|
0023| unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of
|
0024| fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the general fund.

0025| Section 2. EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
|
