0011| MAKING AN APPROPRIATION FOR THE PURCHASE OF PLAYGROUND

0012| EQUIPMENT; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.

0014| BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:
|
0015| Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--One hundred eighty-five
|
0016| thousand dollars ($185,000) is appropriated from the general
|
0017| fund to the office of Indian affairs for expenditure in fiscal
|
0018| year 1999 for the purpose of purchasing and installing
|
0019| playground equipment in the following amounts at the following
|
0020| head start locations:
|
0021| A. fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) for Crystal
|
0022| head start;
|
0023| B. twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) for Coalmine
|
0024| head start;
|
0025| C. fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) for
|

0002| D. twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) for Mexican
|
0003| Springs head start;
|
0004| E. twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) for Rock
|
0005| Springs head start;
|
0006| F. fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) for Navajo
|
0007| head start;
|
0008| G. twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000) for
|
0009| Tsayatoh head start;
|
0010| H. fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) for Tohatchi
|
0011| head start; and
|
0012| I. fifteen thousand dollars ($15,000) for Twin
|
0013| Lakes head start.
|
0014| Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the
|
0015| end of fiscal year 1999 shall revert to the general fund.

0016| Section 2. EMERGENCY.--It is necessary for the public
|
0017| peace, health and safety that this act take effect
|
0018| immediately.
