It is proposed to amend Article 20 of the | 0017| constitution of New Mexico by adding a new section to read: | 0018| "The only marriage that is recognized, or valid, in the | 0019| state of New Mexico, whether performed or entered into in New | 0020| Mexico or elsewhere, is a marriage between one man and one | 0021| woman; and any other marriage is against the public policy of | 0022| New Mexico." | 0023| Section 2.
