AN ACT

MAKING AN APPROPRIATION TO THE STATE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC EDUCATION TO PROVIDE LEADERSHIP TRAINING IN EDUCATIONAL ADMINISTRATION DEVELOPMENT FOR SCHOOL LEADERS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF NEW MEXICO:

Section 1. APPROPRIATION.--Two hundred thousand dollars ($200,000) is appropriated from the general fund to the state department of public education for expenditure in fiscal year 2000 for the purpose of partnering with the university of New Mexico for the provision of leadership training in educational administration development for school leaders. Any unexpended or unencumbered balance remaining at the end of fiscal year 2000 shall revert to the general fund.
